1 in 7 Billion
Being 1 in 7 billion I am insignificant. I am unimportant. In the big scheme of things, I don’t matter. I could disappear and only a handful of people would ever know or care. I probably won’t make an impact. I’ll just be one more journalist. My words probably won’t mean anything. 1 out of 7 billion. An ant in the colony almost. We all have out place, our job, but it could...

Sleep...or lack thereof.
I dunno, maybe I was wrong, but I’m fairly sure that being on break is supposed to give you a chance to actually sleep. Not stay awake all night cause your brain hates you and would like to keep you up.
But when you are up at 2 in the morning, you think about the most interesting things.

11.6.11-Glad
ryukman:
I’m so glad that you’re the one reading this right now, because it means that you are still alive.
A dear, dear friend posted this a while back, and I discovered it tonight. Seeing this as a girl who is generally pretty happy and content with the way life is going (because really do I have much choice?) I was surprised when my heart suddenly felt like it had been squeezed.

“Did I stay on pitch for my song through the song?”
“Was I confident enough during my monologue?”
“How expressive was I during the...

For the Love of My English Class
So just to give you some information on this thing…for English we were asked to do a blog about how new media can help with peace building. I choose to write it as if there were blogs during the Vietnam War, and wrote about the Kent State shootings. Enjoy.
Four civilians dead on Monday. Five hundred civilians estimated dead in November. All innocent lives taken too soon. Such violence.

The Way I See It...
The way I see it…I have no idea what I’ve gotten myself into on this thing. Quite honestly, like an IB kid needs another distraction. But I guess it’s the little things in life that make us happy, so why not? Indulge in that chocolate, or second piece of cake. We only live once right? So grab everything you can…and run.
Cheers.
